We are off... and flying. After a 10 hour flight from LAX-AMS (Amsterdam), a brisk walk from one terminal to another (thankfully KLM waited for us), and a 10.5 hour flight from AMS-CPT (Cape Town), we arrived at CPT International Airport where we were greeted by our partner and friend, Siviwe M. (director of iThuba). Despite being tired, we were energized by Siviwe. We loaded the bus, drove to our hotel and settled into our rooms around 1am, Sunday, March 17. Tomorrow we we explore Cape Town...and will start with a climb up Lion's Head (see photo of Cape Town's gorgeous natural skyline).
